1. Practice communication skills needed for the instruction of patients or their families in noninvasive or invasive ventilator support.
2. Identify the components of negative pressure, non-invasive（CPAP, BIPAP） or invasive ventilators.
3. Assess patient for indications requiring noninvasive or invasive ventilator support.
4. Apply infection control guidelines and standards associated with noninvasive or invasive ventilation equipment and procedures, according to CDC guidelines.
5. Select the equipment needed and solve common problems associated with noninvasive or invasive ventilators.
6. Initiate noninvasive or invasive ventilation.
7. Troubleshoot and solve common problems associated with noninvasive ventilators.
