利用電腦資訊科技來解決生物醫學問題的科學，為目前生物科技之重要發展。本課程之開設主要是介紹電腦在生物醫學上的應用及概念，並介紹如何使用軟體及工具來有系統的擷取、篩選、整理、分析及整合大量生物資訊，進而培養學生具有生物資訊學之概念及基本應用能力。
