1. 培養具專業知識的學生：多元化授課方式，教導學生關於腸胃暨營養系統的解剖學與組織型態學後，強調其正常生理功能、運作的原理及調節控制之機轉。並進一步了解腸胃暨營養系統與其他系統間如何彼此互動協調，以維持人體之生命現象，作為醫學生日後臨床實習的基礎。
2. 培養醫學生實作導向之學習精神與人際關係溝通技巧：分組實驗操作、PBL與相關臨床案例的分組討論，可幫助實作經驗累積及學習資料分析、建立團隊精神、並精進溝通技巧。
3. 專業精神與倫理的建立：在分組團隊中，學習對自身的工作負責的專業態度，並尊重他人不同的意見
4. 培養對社會的關懷：藉由PBL 教案與臨床案例(case study)的內容討論，幫助醫學生連結基與臨床知識，及醫學專業、病人照護與社會間的互相關聯。培養具關懷情操的醫學生。
1. Cultivating students with specialized knowledge: We instruct students in the anatomy and histology of the gastrointestinal and nutritional systems through diverse teaching methods. We emphasize understanding their normal physiological functions, operational principles, and regulatory mechanisms. Furthermore, students gain insight into how the gastrointestinal and nutritional systems interact and coordinate with other systems to maintain vital physiological processes in the human body, serving as the foundation for future clinical internships for medical students
2. Fostering a practical-oriented learning spirit and interpersonal communication skills in medical students: Group laboratory experiments, problem-based learning (PBL), and group discussions on relevant clinical cases contribute to the accumulation of practical experience, data analysis skills, team collaboration, and the enhancement of communication skills.
3. Establishing a sense of professionalism and ethics: Within-group teams, students learn to adopt a responsible professional attitude toward their work and respect the diverse opinions of others.
4. Cultivating a sense of social responsibility: Through discussions in the context of PBL lesson plans and clinical case studies, we help medical students connect foundational and clinical knowledge and understand the interplay between medical professionalism, patient care, and society. This helps in nurturing compassionate medical professionals.
