Introduction to Public Health is a rudimentary course providing an inclusive overview of the field of public health. It will touch upon the key disciplines involved in public health including environmental health and preventive medicine, biostatistics and epidemiology, health policy and health services management, occupational safety and health, and risk management. This course will first guide the students to build a conceptual framework based on public health development and core functions, which is followed by more in-depth discussions into the major related issues and themes.
