本課程目標在於使學生能有系統地瞭解腫瘤細胞的發展與惡化之基本生物過程與複雜的分子機轉。深入了解這些調控機制的失衡如何引發腫瘤細胞的發展與惡化,加深學生對當前腫瘤學最新學術進展與熱門研究題材的印象。同時啟發學生對腫瘤學研究的創新思維與批判性邏輯分析技巧。學習到如何利用對腫瘤發展與惡化的生物過程與分子機轉的知識用於開發新的抗腫瘤藥物策略。全程以英語授課。
The development and progression of tumor cells are complicated processes with the consequences of genetics/epigenetics, tumor microenvironment, dynamic interactions, metabolism reprogram and signaling transduction activation. The objective of this course will facility students to learn the important issues including classical and updated researches in tumor development and progression. In addition, students will learn the state of the art concepts and technologies in order to perform the bench works, sharpen their thinking skills, and gain insight to the molecular basis of tumor and potential targeting therapy once completed the class.
