本課程將介紹音樂劇發展起源，帶領同學共同探索劇場、音樂、與肢體表演的意義，並賞析認識著名英美音樂劇內容、歌曲、與特色。藉由課堂介紹、小組討論、分組演唱與肢體活動，加強對音樂、舞蹈、戲劇的鑒賞力，激發創意潛能，進而充實生活，開拓視野。
This course will discuss the origin and developments of musical theater. Students will exam and explore several aspects of this genre, including staging, physicality, and musical elements. By the end of the session, students will acquire a general concept of musical theater, understanding major plays chronologically, and participated in a group project. The majority of grading based on class participation and weekly workshop.
