To broaden students' diverse industry perspectives and knowledge, we invite senior executives from various industries to give lectures on campus, sharing industry trends and career experiences in fields such as finance, Silicon Valley technology, semiconductors, multinational technology legal services, cutting-edge optical application components and non-profit organizations.

學生須參與跨域產業趨勢與未來領導力講座，並完成七場講座心得撰述（併計課堂點名）。
備註：選修此門課程的學生，可同時認列博雅經典講座(Lectures in Liberal Education)時數，但學生必須遵守博雅經典講座的規定，現場手寫至少200字的心得報告演講結束立即交卷。
Students are required to participate in the Cross-Disciplinary Industry Trends and Future Leadership Lecture and complete seven lecture reflections (which will be counted in class attendance).
Students who take this course can also have their Lectures in Liberal Education hours counted. However, students must abide by the rules of the Lectures in Liberal Education, submit a handwritten reflection of at least 200 words on the spot, and hand in the report immediately after the lecture.

To help students build a solid foundation for the course, the following five books are recommended for reading throughout the semester:
1. Principles of Economics (N. Gregory Mankiw)
Develops economic thinking and provides the fundamental concepts that underpin the entire course.
2. Chip War (Chris Miller)
Offers insights into artificial intelligence, the semiconductor industry, geopolitics, and global supply chains.
3. Thinking, Fast and Slow (Daniel Kahneman)
Introduces decision-making, behavioral economics, and the psychology behind human judgment.
4. The Innovator's Dilemma (Clayton M. Christensen)
Explains technological innovation, disruptive change, corporate transformation, and competitive strategy.
5. The Autobiography of Morris Chang
Provides firsthand perspectives on the development of Taiwan's semiconductor industry, business leadership, and global competition.
Post-Lecture Self-Directed Learning
After each guest lecture, students are expected to conduct independent research on topics related to the lecture theme. They should explore relevant articles, reports, academic publications, or current discussions to deepen their understanding and broaden their perspectives beyond the classroom. This self-directed learning is intended to strengthen students' ability to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world issues and industry developments.
