教學綱要
課程概述Course Description
Graphic Medicine has become a vital component in the core curriculum design of Medical Humanities. In combination with graphics, written texts, medical and literary expressions, narratives of graphic medicine have been considered an emerging and flourishing subgenre within the traditional research in medical humanities, both in Europe and North America. As for the current status in Taiwan, the genre of graphic medicine narratives is in its infancy stage. This course attempts to help students explore issues of dementia via the perspectives of graphic medicine narratives.
教學目標Course Objectives
By the end of the course, students are expected to understand basic concepts and practices of the graphic narratives medium, examine the use of graphic pathography to convey ideas and formulate knowledge about dementia and care ethics, and cultivate the empathy as applied to health humanities.
