1. Help students understand the social phenomena, issues and actual practice in the sports world.
2. Enlighten students on “sociological imagination,” which is a way of looking at the sports world from a sociological perspective, and enable them to capture the implications of the social phenomena.
3. Show students how to explore the sports world in a way that “do” see the wood for the trees and further help them cultivate a reflective attitude.
