課程概述Course Description

概述自西元1600起至二十世紀中葉西洋古典音樂的發展、時代風格演變、樂器特色、及樂曲類型。 An introductory course designed to enhance critical listening and acquaint students with music elements and primary musical periods of traditional Western European classical music.

教學目標Course Objectives

建立欣賞古典音樂之基礎常識與概念，包括樂曲類型，樂理知識、樂器音色特徵，創作時代背景，作曲家生平背景瞭解，及其作品風格特色影響。學生可依循課堂建議學習方向，繼續深入探討古典音樂的世界。 This course is the general guideline for the history of western music. Students will learn about the concepts of genres, fundamental theories, historic events, timbres of various instruments, characters, and backgrounds of various periods, along with selected composers and their music. The primary goal is to develop knowledge, understanding, and skills related to music history.
