目前血管新生已廣泛被應用於臨床之診斷與治療，並已有各式抑制血管新生標靶藥物北核准上市。本課程中配合的最新相關文獻、臨床上抑制血管新生藥物(angiogenesis inhibitors)的發展現況，探討利用血管新生療法在治療不同疾病的上策略，以引發學生學習興趣，並深入了解可應用血管新生機制的各種領域。
Angiogenesis is the physiological process through which new blood vessels form from pre-existing vessels. Angiogenesis is one of the hallmark features that tumours require for both growth and metastasis. In this course, you will learn about the factors and pathways controlling angiogenesis to understand that angiogenesis in disease formation and angiogenesis inhibitors in disease treatment.
