植物組織培養（Plant Tissue Culture）為生物科技的基礎，故本課程將以深入淺出的方式，介紹植物組織培養的基本原理、方法、儀器、和應用，內容包括器官、組織、細胞等培殖體之建立、體胚之誘導、癒合組織的誘導、細胞懸浮培養、二次代謝產物、種源保存、大量繁殖、馴化及遺傳工程上的應用等。配合實務(實驗課的實際操作)與教學，引導學生對植物組織培養能有完整的認識，從而有助於學術生涯之規劃。
Plant tissue culture as the basis for biotechnology, it will be easy to understand the way this course is to introduce the basic principles of plant tissue culture, methods, instruments, and applications,
including organs, tissues, cells and other body in the rearing of the establishment, somatic embryos induction, the induction of callus, cell suspension culture, secondary metabolites, provenance preservation, a lot of breeding, domestication and genetic engineering on the application. With practical (hands-on experiment course) and teaching, guide students on plant tissue culture can have a complete understanding, thus contributing to academic career planning.
