本課程為遠距教學線上課程，同學務必到Moodle系統查閱每週上課連結，登入視訊連結上課。同時開放給中國醫藥大學以及國際合作學校的學生選修。 **授課時間安排在星期六早上第一與第二節課時段** **此課程採用線上視訊授課與問答** 介紹中醫的基本概念，包括主要理論、診斷方法、治療原理、治療方法（如中藥、針刺、艾灸和推拿）和中醫養生保健方法。除了了解傳統中醫的基礎理論方式外，學生還將了解中醫治療對不同疾病健康的益處，授課重點也包括中醫在臨床整合醫療的實證證據。本課程認列為全英語授課(EMI)課程，歡迎有興趣的中醫學院大學部學生選修。
This course is designated as an English-Medium Instruction (EMI) course. Undergraduate students of the College of Chinese Medicine who are interested in enrolling are welcome to apply in accordance with the Office of Academic Affairs'“Application Form for Undergraduate Students to Enroll in Graduate-Level Courses.”
This course is an online distance learning course. Students must check the Moodle system each week for the class link and log in to the video conference for the lesson. This course will be open for students in China Medical University, Taiwan as well as international students from CMU's collaborating universities. **This course will be held on Saturday morning (08:10-10:00am).** **This course will be held in the format of online teaching and Q&A sessions.** This course introduces the basic concepts of traditional Chinese medicine, including main theories, diagnostics, treatment principles, treatment methods (eg. herbs, acupuncture, moxibustion and tui-na) and health-promotion approaches. In addition to understanding how traditional Chinese medicine is practiced in general, students will also learn about the benefits of integration of Chinese medicine interventions on health outcomes among different diseases. Emphasis will be placed on current evidence supporting the integration of traditional Chinese medicine in clinical setting. The course employs online lectures with Q&A sessions to provide students an overview of traditional Chinese medicine. This course is designated as an English-Medium Instruction (EMI) course. Undergraduate students of the College of Chinese Medicine who are interested in enrolling are welcome to enroll in this course.

• Familiarize with the fundamentals of traditional Chinese medicine
• Identify and understand the indication of a range of common Chinese herbal medicine
• Identify and understand the indication of a range of common acupoints
• Experience and practice the Tai-Chi-Chuan and Ba-duan-jin qigong as approaches to promote health
• Understand the benefits of integration of traditional Chinese medicine to improve health outcomes
• Synthesize traditional Chinese medicine concepts to apply what you’ve learned to a clinical disease
