教學綱要
課程概述Course Description
The contact relationship of teeth on the maxillary and mandibular jaw bones means a lot for chewing function and parafunction. Senses, including pain at teeth, muscles, jaw bones and TM joints are through the trigeminal nervous system before reaching the brain cortex. The afferent information of occlusal contacts from the bimaxillary teeth may directly or indirectly alter the nervous impulses via the efferent pathway of the trigeminal system to the related muscles. Thus the jaw movement and function will then be changed.
教學目標Course Objectives
人類之咀嚼系統由牙齒、顎骨、咀嚼肌群及神經系統,尤其是三叉神經組成。牙齒是咀嚼平台,其形狀、位置及排列直接影響咀嚼功能,咀嚼肌是咀嚼之動力施出者,需有頭頸部肌群之支持,而顎骨及顎關節為肌群與牙齒之基座與支撐者,在意識與神經反射系統之指導下,可順利進行攝取食物之功能。本課程即在提供此系統的解剖、生理與病理狀態之說明與討論,學生可獲口腔生理學之認識,以作為臨床牙醫學研修之基礎。 Human masticatory system is a combination of jaw bone, masticatory muscles directly or indirectly attached to the mandible and the nervous system, especially the trigeminal nervous system. Dentition is used mostly for breaking and grinding foods, and its size, form and relative positions in a jaw or between jaws are versatile and strongly related to the function of the masticatory system.
