論述公共衛生學涵蓋的各種領域,例如:環境衛生與職業衛生、流行病學與生物統計、衛生行政與行為科學及預防醫學等。引導學生認識健康的意義與公共衛生的定義與範圍,中老年保健與優生保健的重要性,如何預防疾病、傳染病與物質濫用之發生及防治,環境及職業衛生的重要性,及如何避免職業災害與公害的發生,及如何推動健康社區等基本概念。
This course introduces the four domains of public health, including health policy and management, biostatistics and epidemiology, environmental and occupational health, and prevention medicine. It also provides the basic concepts of disease preventing, life prolonging and health promoting for students.
